We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to contribute geotechnical expertise to projects throughout various stages.

This role involves working closely with clients across multiple industries, including residential development, transport and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, coordinating and managing field data acquisition, site investigations, testing and producing calculations, reports, specifications and drawings to ensure geotechnical designs provide suitable solutions.
  • Conducting geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations and retaining walls.
  • Providing quality checks and reviews to ensure technical standards are met.
  • Planning, programming and coordinating geotechnical project inputs to deliver agreed outputs on time and to agreed quality standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in consulting and/or being recognised as a senior engineer in your current role.
  • Experience with soil investigation, supervision and geotechnical design.
  • Previous experience with engineering software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.
