Geotechnical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Specialist to join our team in a geotechnical capacity. The successful candidate will provide geotechnical expertise for residential, transport, and infrastructure projects across all stages from investigation to construction supervision.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate site investigations, testing, and produce calculations, reporting, specifications, and drawings to ensure geotechnical designs provide appropriate solutions.
  • Undertake geotechnical analysis in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations, and retaining walls.
  • Ensure geotechnical outputs meet agreed quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate geotechnical project inputs to deliver outputs on time and to agreed quality standards.
  • Prepare proposals for new business initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting and/or recognized as a senior engineer in your current role.
  • Experience with soil investigation, supervision, and geotechnical design.
  • Previous experience with engineering software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.
