Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in geotechnical engineering to contribute to projects across various industries and sectors.

This role involves providing geotechnical expertise in residential, transport, and infrastructure projects from investigation to design and construction supervision. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and managing field data acquisition, site investigations, testing, and producing calculations, reporting, specifications, and drawings to ensure that geotechnical designs provide appropriate solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering and significant experience working in the consulting field. Previous experience with soil investigation, supervision, and geotechnical design is essential. Additionally, proficiency in software packages such as gINT, GEOSTUDIO, PLAXIS, ROCSCIENCE, CIRCLY, and AutoCAD is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate geotechnical project inputs to deliver agreed outputs on time and quality standards.
  • Undertake geotechnical analysis in areas like slope stability, pavement designs, foundations, and retaining walls.
  • Review and provide technical guidance on geotechnical reports and designs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with relevant electives and/or major.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the consulting field or recognized as a senior engineer.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software packages.
