About Our Victims of Crime Team
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Ringwood, Victoria.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with survivors of violent crime and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
You will play a vital role in helping applicants access essential services and support through the Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring that victims receive the assistance they need for recovery.
As part of our team, you will gain exposure to the firm's personal injury and migration law practice areas. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in these areas and contribute to building strong cases for our clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Client Engagement: Connecting with individuals seeking assistance, answering initial inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing a warm welcome.
- File Management: Mastering the art of organized documentation and information management.
- Case Management: Effectively communicating with legal professionals and gaining insights into strategic case management.
- Drafting Correspondence: Composing impactful legal correspondence.
- Evidence Preparation: Contributing to building strong cases by assisting in the preparation of crucial evidence.
