Victim Support Specialist

This role requires a professional to provide individual case management and recovery support to victim survivors of family violence from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
The Family Violence Practitioner will work alongside victim survivors, providing tailored support and guidance to help them navigate challenging situations.
In addition to individual case management, the practitioner will deliver group-based programs based on identified need and in line with the MARAM Framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver individualized case management and recovery support to victim survivors.
- Develop and implement group-based programs addressing specific needs and aligned with the MARAM Framework.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services.
- Fluency in Vietnamese language.
- Demonstrated experience working within the specialist family violence sector or supporting individuals impacted by domestic, family, and sexual violence.
- Understanding of the specialist family violence sector in Victoria.
- MARAM Framework training and its application in crisis services or willingness to undergo training at employment start.
