Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support and advice to the implementation team
  • Work collaboratively with a high-performing and passionate team in the public service
  • Maintain knowledge of key legislation and policy

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, society and culture
  • Able to communicate sensitively and effectively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal community
  • Understanding of the nature and dynamics of family violence and sexual assault

What you need to succeed

  • Degree or higher in a relevant field such as community services, social work, criminology, psychology, victim services and/or family violence
  • Proven experience working with Aboriginal communities and victims of crime
