Conversation Designer

A forward-thinking role in a cutting-edge technology business, WoolworthsX seeks an experienced Conversation Designer to lead the implementation of innovative conversational interfaces and AI-driven solutions. This is a permanent position based in Surry Hills, with flexible remote work options.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the design of conversation experiences for our custom virtual assistants, ensuring natural and contextual conversations across hundreds of topics and modalities.
- Collaborate with product teams to define bot strategy, designing user experiences and implementing tools like LLMs, prompt engineering, and knowledge base retrieval.
- Champion Conversational Design and drive every stage of the CxD process, improving content governance, workflows, and organisational structure.
- Develop user-centric solutions to design challenges, creating clear and concise documentation, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
- Expertise in conversational interfaces or voice assistants, with proficiency in crafting high-fidelity chat and voice assistant demos.
- Experience with NLU and LLM AI, including utilising Generative AI, implementing LLMs, and knowledge base retrieval.
- User research experience, comfortable with usability tests and experimentation methodologies.
- Agile environment experience, able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- An estimated salary range of AUD $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
