Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive merchandise strategies to support overall business goals and customer value propositions, staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to align merchandise strategy with customer experience, fostering innovation and results-driven thinking.
  • Partner with vendors to maximise margin and delivery performance, ensuring seamless product presentation and pricing across all customer touchpoints.
  • Deliver sales and gross margin targets by reviewing and interpreting sales data and forecasts regularly, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Maintain consistency in product presentation, pricing, and storytelling across all customer channels, ensuring a cohesive brand experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in merchandising or product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field; MBA or advanced degree desirable.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale merchandise operations in a multi-location or omnichannel retail environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, deep understanding of category management and financial planning.
