Role Summary

Deliver compelling social media content using sharp writing, news judgement, and visual storytelling techniques to engage with and grow our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exercise whip-smart judgement and a passion for social-media led storytelling.
  • Assist with copywriting, producing, designing artwork, publishing and distributing content across social media channels.
  • Deliver high-quality social media content using constantly evolving best practice techniques.
  • Foster new and existing communities inside each social platform.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the social media space, preferably in a news environment.
  • Understand what a social audience likes (and dislikes).
  • Ability to create and curate engaging social media content through sharp writing, news judgement, and use of visual storytelling tools.
  • Excellent scheduling skills to stay afloat in a busy news cycle.
