Job Title: Continuity Services Leader

The role of a Continuity Services Leader is pivotal in ensuring the continuity of IT services for our customers.

About the Role:

  • This position requires strategic leadership and management skills to ensure the delivery of value to our customers through high-quality customer delivery of Continuity Services. This involves aligning disaster recovery plans with customers' Service Continuity Plans, focusing on readiness.
  • Lead teams assessing, developing, coordinating, and communicating recovery environment requirements and plans for our customers.
  • Evaluate and ensure disaster recovery plans align with relevant legislation and organisational insurance requirements.
  • Identify recovery requirements for new applications and systems. Implement recovery and availability techniques and technologies, reviewing periodically for ongoing validity.
  • Maintain monthly status reporting, plans, and other disaster recovery documentation.
  • Represent the Continuity Services team on behalf of Datacom to your customers.
  • Deliver high-quality Continuity Services ensuring compliance with relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure stakeholders adhere to relevant processes in line with customer requirements and best practices.
  • Support customer Business Continuity and Continuity projects as required.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial IT, with expertise in both mainframe and client/server technologies.
  • Thorough knowledge of information systems, operating systems, databases, and networking.
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills, enabling effective networking and productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
