Job Title: IT Service Continuity Professional

Role Overview:

As a key contributor to our organization's success, the IT Service Continuity Professional plays a vital role in ensuring the availability and resilience of technology services. This involves developing and implementing strategies to guarantee seamless continuity, aligning IT strategies with broader business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement IT Service Continuity Framework - Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our IT Service Continuity framework and plans, ensuring alignment with broader business continuity objectives.
  • Business Impact Analysis - Conduct Business Impact Analyses to identify critical IT services, dependencies, and potential risks, and design effective recovery strategies.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning - Develop, maintain, and test IT Disaster Recovery plans to safeguard the availability and resilience of mission-critical services.
  • Testing and Compliance - Coordinate and deliver regular disaster recovery testing, establishing a structured test calendar to ensure ongoing readiness and compliance.
  • Strategic Partnership - Partner with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to embed continuity strategies into operational processes and project delivery.
About You:

Tertiary Qualifications or Equivalent Experience - Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

IT Service Management Expertise - Proven expertise in developing and implementing IT Service Continuity frameworks and Disaster Recovery plans, with knowledge of ITIL, ISO 22301, and related best practices.

Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on assessing risks, impacts, and recovery strategies.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills - Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive process adoption across diverse teams.
