Porterage Team Lead

The role of a Porterage Manager plays a vital part in upholding the organisation's reputation by creating a secure and welcoming environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff within the porterage team including porters, PSO's, help desk operators, CELS, and linen staff across Queensland Children's Hospital (QCH) and associated facilities - Centre for Children's Health Research (CCHR), Bank Building, Queensland Children's Hospital Energy Plant (QCHEP)
  • Lead the porterage team by promoting a quality-driven approach, maintaining awareness of contemporary industry practices including accreditation, national standards, technology and best practice standards
