The primary contact on the ward assists visitors by directing them to patient information and provides an effective front counter service.

They respond to general reception enquiries by answering telephone calls and ensuring accurate transfer of messages and information.

Contribute to patient flow efficiencies by liaising with staff to coordinate appointments, resources and movement on behalf of patients.

Assist with patient discharges and transfers through timely coordination of paperwork, transport and updating of hospital information systems.
