Job Description:

As a skilled Healthcare Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless care experiences for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the scheduling of allied health and nursing services, triage referrals, coordinate bookings, and respond to intraday changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex schedules to ensure timely delivery of healthcare services
  • Triage referrals and coordinate bookings to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with workforce planning and operations teams to deliver efficient and compassionate care
  • Liaise with third-party providers to ensure service instructions align with preferred provider guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in scheduling and rostering environments is preferable
  • Exposure to operational or health-based industries is desirable, but not essential
  • Sound understanding of administration procedures and general business practices
  • Initiative in meeting tight deadlines, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to manage shifting priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to show empathy with customers and relatives
