A Career Opportunity: National Design Leader

We are seeking an experienced National Design Leader to join our Rail Operations Business Unit.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving innovation in the rail sector.

The successful candidate will lead the design capability within Rail Operations Technical Function, overseeing the formulation of design methodologies and managing design risks across all bids and projects.

In this role, you will collaborate with bid and project leaders to identify and assess design risks, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies are in place.

About You

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • 15 years of experience in the rail sector, including overhead wiring design, rail earthing and bonding design, system design, and tramway systems.
  • An established relationship with rail authorities across Australia.
  • Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in delivering and managing multi-disciplinary designs.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $180,000-$220,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
