Chief Technology Officer

Vitae Group Pty Ltd seeks a seasoned Chief Technology Officer to lead the company's technological direction and drive innovation.

About the Role:

  • Provide strategic vision and leadership for the company's technology initiatives.
  • Direct the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical design and architecture discussions to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Drive the integration of AI technologies into business processes and leverage emerging technologies for business solutions.
  • Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development and Dev Ops.
  • Communicate effectively with other engineers, designers, and product managers to contribute to core team goals.
  • Act as a controller to enforce adherence to Agile methodologies and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience with web technologies, languages, and frameworks (TypeScript, Node JS, React).
  • Advanced understanding of agile practices, including code versioning, CI/CD, automated quality practices.
  • RESTful API design and development, and knowledge of event-driven Microservice architecture.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software and good understanding of Dev Ops practices.
  • Proven ability to scope and plan engineering projects from initial conceptualization through to delivery and release.

What We Offer:

A competitive estimated salary of $200,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the company's growth and success.
