Why This Role Matters

As the Digital Product Visionary, you'll lead the development of world-class software products that bring Spacetalk's vision to life. You will oversee a talented team of engineers, drive design and delivery of customer-facing applications, and ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, and ahead of industry trends.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee native app development within the Spacetalk ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with SaaS platforms and IoT solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of app performance, scalability, and user experience, leveraging data-driven insights.

Leadership and Team Building

  • Lead cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies while incorporating DevOps practices for efficient CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, ensuring alignment with Spacetalk's values and business objectives.
  • Align engineering efforts with company objectives, ensuring technical strategies support scalability and innovation.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and maintain engineering best practices, processes, and tools to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance product capabilities and efficiency.

Metrics-Driven Impact

  • Define and monitor key performance metrics for engineering deliverables, ensuring measurable outcomes such as improved app performance, increased user retention, and reduced time-to-market for features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of delivering innovative SaaS platforms and apps.
  • Expertise in leading cross-functional teams, aligning engineering efforts with business objectives, and achieving measurable results in app and SaaS development.
  • Deep understanding of predictive analytics, IoT, and scalable software architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with modern development tools, native and web app platforms, agile methodologies, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for innovation and creating solutions that make a real difference in people's lives.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year.
