Job Description

The Senior Product Visionary plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision and strategy at Serko Ltd. As a senior member of the product organisation, you will bring a deep understanding of product, business strategy, market dynamics, and leadership to guide large-scale product initiatives across multiple streams.

A strong background in the Travel domain or TMC industry combined with a solid understanding of technology products is essential for this position. This role is open to both Australian and New Zealand candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with Serko Ltd's business goals and market trends.
  • Identify and validate market opportunities and user needs to develop a holistic product strategy and roadmap that supports a wider portfolio-level strategy.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of the product roadmap.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and adjust plans as necessary to deliver product on time and within budget.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering their professional development.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of leadership in product management with experience in guiding successful product launches and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of product management principles and best practices, with proven experience in market analysis, product strategy development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong Travel domain knowledge in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using insights to drive product decisions and measure impact.
  • Skilled facilitator, able to get the best from others while asking tough questions.
