About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in a key role where you will be responsible for managing the daily presentation and maintenance of open spaces, sportsgrounds, playgrounds, and other public areas.

The successful candidate will operate small plant and equipment at various sites and assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with Council's Open Space operations.

To be considered for this position, you will have relevant experience and demonstrated understanding of park maintenance and industry best-practice, as well as basic computer skills and a current 'ChemCert' (Chemical Handling) qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily presentation and maintenance of open spaces, sportsgrounds, playgrounds, and other public areas.
  • Operate small plant and equipment at various sites.
  • Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with Council's Open Space operations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in park maintenance and management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of industry best-practice and safety protocols.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • CURRENT 'ChemCert' (Chemical Handling) qualification.
