Job OverviewAs a strategic partner, the HR Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving departmental initiatives. The goal is to modernise and streamline the recruitment process, reducing administrative burden while enhancing quality and speed of decision-making.
This position works across multiple stakeholders to deliver a consistent recruitment experience. Key responsibilities include designing business requirements and workflows to support process improvements, collaborating with employment delegates, panel chairs, and HR staff to gather insights and translate them into actionable enhancements, identifying opportunities for automation and workflow integration using platforms like Springboard or PowerApps, and ensuring all process improvements align with departmental goals, compliance standards, and workforce strategy initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, ideally within HR and/or the public sector, with a focus on designing processes, implementing automation, and working with HR technology platforms.
- A strong understanding of recruitment and selection practices, candidate experience, and compliance requirements is essential.
- Prior experience working within government environments is highly valued.
