Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Childcare Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our childcare program, ensuring the highest level of quality care and education for our children.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and teaching, with experience in programming and staff management. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with families and the school community.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 34.5 hours per week during school term and 38 hours during vacation care time. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completed or near-completed relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services minimum)
  • Demonstrated experience in programming and passion for quality childcare
  • Experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in OSHC
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please ensure you meet the following selection criteria:

  1. You have completed or are near completing relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services minimum)
  2. You have demonstrated experience in programming and passion for quality childcare
  3. You have experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in OSHC
  4. You have excellent customer service skills
  5. You have verbal and written communication skills
  6. You have First Aid and CPR certification or are willing to obtain it
  7. You have a Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or are willing to obtain it
