Asset Management Specialist

Job Description

This position will be responsible for the management and governance of asset data to support overall asset management framework and strategic plans across contracts.

The Asset Management Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, including support services, engineering, network operations control center, third-party vendors, and management, to ensure that assets are managed and data is accurate.

Responsibilities include producing ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual asset reports, leading account-mandated audits, and contractual reporting obligations.

This is a six-month contract position with potential for extension. The role is based in Melbourne Burwood East office with some travel required to various sites around metropolitan Melbourne. Travel expenses will be reimbursed as applicable. Flexibility to work from home available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data management and governance to ensure data accuracy and detail.
  • Provision and maintenance of accurate data within the asset database and ITSM systems.
  • Building and maintaining reports and procedures to detect and resolve inconsistencies in the asset database.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure asset management procedures are followed and refined.
  • Conducting asset audits through site inspections.
  • Ensuring asset management deliverables are fully aligned within the scope of contracts.

Requirements and Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in asset data management and extraction are essential.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in asset management.
  • Accurate data entry, data extraction, and data cleansing skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivots, and Power Query).
  • Xtraction queries and dashboards.

Beneficial but not mandatory skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in BMC Remedy.
  • Specific experience in radio, console, and network infrastructure asset management.
