Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Market Insights Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Markets product and service suite, you will play a critical role in driving customer activity and revenue growth via analysis that provides insights for ASX participants, new direct and indirect customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively with the distribution team to deepen existing relationships, solve challenges, deliver value, and identify opportunities for improved market quality.
  • Drive customer analysis on activity and revenue growth across the Markets product and service suite.
  • Support the distribution team to retain and grow existing participants' activity and insights across ASX's products and services.
  • Promote new products and initiatives, aligning analytical solutions with client objectives, to new and existing relationships and maintain regular strategic engagements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or any major field.
  • Proven analytical experience, scripting and data analysis tools and languages, e.g. SQL, TIBCO Spotfire.
  • Quantitative data skills using Python and/or R to access data and visualise/analyse data sets and trends.
  • Understanding of global markets, investment banking, proprietary trading and asset management.
  • Energetic self-starter, self-motivated and highly resourceful.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrable internal/external relationship management ability.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
