**Marketing Insights Analyst**

Talent Insights are currently working with one of Australia's leading retail companies : an organisation that brings together over one hundred talented analytics professionals to create innovative data insights that impact and improve the overall business. Their common purpose of 'Creating a more sociable future together' is communicated by their 29,000 strong teams, spread across 1700 stores.

They are currently hiring for a dedicated Marketing Insights Analyst to join their Loyalty & Personalization Analytics division, which is integral to the company's success.

**What will a typical day look like for you?**
You'll be working on personalization (AI and ML) projects, identifying trends and insights from their personalization engines / products and working with Data Scientists, ML Engineers and Product Managers.

You will promote an internal culture of true data-driven decision making, work closely with business stakeholders and lead the deployment of new analytical solutions and analytics requests.

**About the team**: The team is a combination of analytics and digital tech, with diverse backgrounds, who have a wide range of skills and are constantly knowledge sharing. The structure is flat in order to avoid any sense of hierarchy and to allow for fast decision making. The company has the ability to adopt cutting-edge technology, led by employees, and therefore really allowing for personal autonomy within the business. There is a huge investment being made in their data and digital tech, transforming strategy and decisions across the business with analytics. As a result, they have a solid platform, a high level of data maturity and are currently undergoing a huge transformation.

**You will have**:

- Over 5 plus years of experience within an Analytics / Insights role
- Strong understanding of customer, campaign and commercial data
- Experience using Data Visualisation tools (Tableau / Power BI / Looker)
- Experience with statistical tools (R / Python) or digital media platforms (Google Marketing Platform, Google Ad Manager, Tealium Tag Manager, Adobe Stack and Data Transfer files.)
- Be familiar with the attribution space, have awareness of control groups and campaign analysis
- Ability to translate complicated methods and results into plain language, both speaking and writing
