This role is centered on ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of strong client relationships through the delivery and management of product information to the Australian Scientific Instrumentation team and its customers.

**Key Responsibilities of the Role Include:**

- Regular meetings with key suppliers to establish and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Preparing and submitting tenders for Industrial Science instrumentation by collaborating with clients, sales manager, and business manager.
- Producing and reporting as per client and INS business requirements. This includes regular business activity reports to existing key clients including updates to sales activities, marketing events, and forecasts.
- Submitting all expense claims in line with company policies.
- Planning, working with all departments to execute, and focusing on existing customers and target customers to address the Total Market Opportunity.
- Working with the Sales Team to define market trends by anticipating, identifying and analysing emerging trends and market needs / opportunities.
- Providing input to the global product team in line with these trends to introduce new products and ensure the portfolio is meeting local market needs and opportunities.
- Completing the onboarding process for all new approved clients including parts creations, part updates and organising training for the sales team.
- Managing and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capturing all relevant sales and marketing information in the CRM system (actively & regularly utilising SFDC database to plan & record all key activities as required).
- Ensuring travel costs are minimised where possible when performing product demonstrations, attending seminars, exhibits and other trade / marketing events.
- Ensuring all Australian regulatory requirements where applicable (EMC Register, XRAY, TGA, AICIS) are kept up to date in order to sell these products in Australia.

**Requirements:**

- Proven sales experience within a high-performance culture and demonstrated strong client management and understanding of clients' industry/business/products.

- Establishing a deep understanding of the industrial Science market and customer needs and clearly communicating product strategy to the Instrumentation Business Manager and Sales Manager.

- Holding a Tertiary qualification in science, business (or equivalent) or experience in related discipline.

- Minimum 5 years' experience working in customer sales or service role(s)
