About the Role

The Helpline Lead coordinates and supports a team of Victim Support Workers who provide informed advice, support, and referrals to victims of crime.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and coaching to achieve high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Overseeing daily operations and ensuring effective workflows and resource allocation
  • Conducting thorough assessments of family violence referrals for male victims, applying expertise in risk assessment and management
About You

Required qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in delivering services within the family violence sector or specialist family violence service
  • Detailed knowledge of the Victims Support service system and associated legislation, with a focus on service delivery and outcomes
  • Specialized training and expertise in family violence, including risk assessment and management

Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to supporting victims of crime.

This role requires a proactive approach to service delivery, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration with other teams and stakeholders.
