Crisis Support Space Leader

Empower Metro South Health's Crisis Support Spaces by leading their evaluation, reporting and strategic development. Foster a collaborative environment for the Lived Experience Workforce across MSAMHS.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, report and strategically develop MSAMHS Crisis Support Spaces to optimize performance.
  • Provide operational support to members of the Social Inclusion and Recovery leadership team.
  • Mentor and supervise team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the Statewide Crisis Support Space leadership team to drive statewide initiatives.

Satisfying s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement that applicants have lived/living experience of mental health challenges, substance use challenges, service use and recovery, or have been a carer for somebody experiencing these challenges.

About You
  • You possess lived or living experience of mental health challenges, substance use challenges, service use and recovery, or caring for someone with these experiences.
  • You bring expertise in leading and delivering system-wide or state-wide projects with measurable outcomes.
  • You demonstrate high-level strategic, analytical and report-writing skills, able to transform data into meaningful insights.
  • You are an effective communicator and relationship-builder, confident in engaging stakeholders including consumers, carers, colleagues and partners.
