Job Title: Technical Implementation Analyst

The Technical Implementation Analyst role is a key position in our team that involves providing software implementation services. This customer-facing role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life-Cycle framework and its various stages.

In this role, you will work with high-profile organizations to help them become better prepared for crisis situations. You will have experience in development technologies and implementing software. Superior multitasking and meeting changing deadlines are essential skills for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure web-based products within the WebEOC framework to meet client needs for emergency/incident response.
  • Design, utilize, and improve emergency/incident management processes.
  • Create written requirements documents for system configuration to meet client needs.
  • Provide technical assistance to stakeholders in support and delivery of emergency/incident management programs.
  • Contribute information to systems for tracking progress and documenting status of activities.
  • Develop and implement techniques and procedures for process reviews, including online training content and exercise assessments.
  • Tier 2 support for region's clients.
  • Identify and implement staff development opportunities related to emergency preparedness and response.
  • Support Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) activations when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years experience in web development.
  • Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Experience with Bootstrap versions 3 and 4.
  • Experience with jQuery.
  • Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Technical Business Analysis skills.
  • Material Design experience preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in an emergency management environment preferred but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 years experience implementing software and working directly with clients.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Superior ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to travel if required.
  • New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent work rights in New Zealand.
