Workplace Operations Coordinator

  • This hands-on role ensures our workspace is safe, efficient, and well-maintained. You will oversee building operations, manage logistics, and provide crucial support to the culinary team by coordinating deliveries and handling goods.
  • Based in Chippendale, Sydney, this permanent part-time role reports to Office Manager.

You will be responsible for managing all facilities and building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance. This includes overseeing daily office set-up, opening and closing procedures, and building access.

You will also coordinate with trades, contractors, and cleaners to maintain a safe and hygienic workspace. Additionally, you will support the culinary team with receiving, packing, and managing deliveries and samples.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Hands-on experience managing facilities, logistics, or workplace operations.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to anticipate office needs.
  • Practical problem-solving ability to resolve issues quickly and minimise disruption.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety compliance.
  • Experience with vendor management.

Duties may include:

  • Action JIRA help desk requests relating to facilities and workplace operations.
  • Managing office, kitchen, and stationery supply levels and coordinating procurement.
  • Handling all incoming mail, parcels, and company merchandise stock management.
