Workplace Operations Specialist

We are seeking individuals to join our Workplace Services team as a Workplace Operations Specialist.

This role requires the management of timeframes, provision of assistance and advice to stakeholders, and support for the delivery of outstanding service in building and workplace operations.

The successful candidate will provide clients with a professional working environment, ensuring a clean, safe, productive, and sustainable workplace for all employees.

Key responsibilities include providing sound advice and recommendations, undertaking facilities management activities, assisting in the provision of facilities and accommodation, and managing client expectations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on routine to moderately complex enquiries from stakeholders.
  • Manage a range of facilities management activities and seek assistance when required.
  • Support the provision of facilities management, accommodation, and workplace goods and services for clients.
  • Ensure effective relationships with stakeholders and team members by sharing knowledge of own area of expertise.
  • Exercise judgement to resolve issues of a new or unique nature that may be moderately complex.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site work during business hours, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the broader impacts and implications of relevant policy and linked property management functions.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, APS and agency policy, procedures, and processes in relation to facilities management services.
  • Actively participate in staff development and training activities of the area.
