What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our close knit People and Culture team. This role is focused on providing high quality Employee Relations advice to the business, whilst working within a highly collaborative team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering day to day advice and coaching to line managers on employee relations matters such as grievances, performance management, misconduct, investigations, policy breaches, wellness and health matters
  • Staying abreast of internal policy and external legislation to ensure the highest quality advice is given
  • Influencing, coaching and developing line managers to model the desired interpersonal and leadership skills to create a positive working environment in line with our values and employee relations framework

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

  • Sound experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or case management, through previous roles
  • Proven ability to coach and support employees and line managers
  • Experience interpreting and advising on the Fair Work Act and Enterprise Agreements
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills are important as is a commercial orientation
