Job Summary

The primary function of this role is to coordinate the scheduling of deliveries with customers, drivers, and branch operations teams to achieve cost-effective and efficient outcomes.

This involves reviewing customer requirements and planning delivery schedules to meet timely and complete expectations. Scheduling and optimizing daily and weekly routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer requirements to plan and coordinate delivery schedules
  • Schedule and optimize daily and weekly delivery routes
  • Communicate delivery timeframes and requirements with customers
  • Ensure accurate documentation and filing of relevant records
  • Maintain and report on transport vehicle and equipment maintenance needs
  • Assist with processing sales orders to invoices and receiving goods into inventory systems
  • Prepare regular reports as required by management

Required Skills and Qualifications

Familiarity with logistics software and strong organizational skills are essential. A solid understanding of supply chain management and experience in preparing and tracking orders is also required.
