
Resource Coordinator

This role involves coordinating various aspects of resource management, including allocation and logistics.
The primary focus is to strike a balance between customer needs and resource utilization, ensuring efficient scheduling of trials, audits, disinfections, and shutdowns for network operators.
The successful candidate will have expertise in planning, packaging, and dispatch of work related to network operations, managing risks associated with safety, customers, resources, and the environment during the connection of new, renewed, or adjusted assets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing major infrastructure and development programs
- Ensuring new assets are operable and maintainable
- Identifying and addressing safety and condition-related issues in the existing network
- Providing planning expertise to minimize customer impact during planned maintenance activities
- Scheduling and coordinating developer inspections, disinfections, and shutdowns
- Managing scheduling exceptions
- Optimizing productivity (utilization and efficiency) of developer inspection employees
- Resolving or redirecting customer enquiries and being the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on developer matters
- Complying with regulatory notification requirements and preparing notices for supply interruption
- Processing rebates for planned shutdowns exceeding five hours
- Updating work orders for stand-down labor hours associated with after-hours work
About You:
- A Certificate IV in Water Industry Operations (General), or ability to obtain within two years of appointment
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in business support
- Experience using FRM MA and DA Licence or equivalent
- Problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Experience dealing with customer, stakeholder, and regulator issues
- Knowledge of how networks operate to deliver water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater products and services meeting customer and stakeholder expectations
- Success working with internal and external service delivery partners to achieve common goals
Additional Requirements:
- Must hold a current driver's license or can obtain one immediately
- This role is office-based and may involve some field duties
- Must be available to work outside normal working hours from home, office, or in the field as required
