Service Coordinator Role Overview

Access Hire is seeking a skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at our Kalgoorlie branch. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting with scheduling and planning our technicians to attend to service and breakdowns, while also contributing to other areas of the workshop as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist with the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and maintain fleet maintenance plans and service schedules, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with Workshop Technicians to ensure effective repair and maintenance of fleet, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage rosters and technicians, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing downtime.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, reporting, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Previous coordinator or team leader experience in an automotive workshop environment.
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of mechanical workshop practices, including customer service, sales, job cards, receipts, purchase orders, invoice reconciling, and stock inventory control.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changeable environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy and high-pressure team environment.
  • A willingness to learn and be coached for success.
  • Current Driver's license.
