
Regional Business Growth Specialist

Ozwide Freight is a trusted family-owned transport and logistics business delivering reliable freight warehousing and distribution services to North Queensland and Perth.
The Role:- Operations - Involvement in day-to-day operations of each depot communicating with and assisting our depot supervisors to deliver a prompt and efficient service. Maximise the use of available resources whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
- Regional BDM - Expand our client base strengthening existing relationships and drive commercial success across North Queensland from Bundaberg to Cairns and all surrounding areas.
- Ensure NQ depot operations are in line with company goals and policy.
- Assist and support NQ depot supervisors on a daily basis.
- Develop and implement regional business growth strategies identify and pursue new customer opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Build strong relationships with clients.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Represent the company at local industry functions trade shows and community events.
- Report directly to the General Manager.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years' experience in business development or account management within the transport and logistics industry.
- A good understanding of regional Queensland's freight and logistics environment.
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent interpersonal negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly across North Queensland.
