• Manage a customer base, customer relationships and business performance within the assigned territory. Ideal candidate can be home based in the Central Territory to include OH, KY and IN.
• Act as a primary contact to identify prospective distributors and channel management teams; develop professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet those needs.
• Conduct business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segments to support the business strategy.
• Develop and promote new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
• Proactively support and develop prospective projects with assigned customers and present to the sales business development team.
• Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities; develop customer presentations for specific needs.
• Call on established accounts and develop new accounts.
• Work with accounts to implement sales and marketing programs to increase sales and market penetration for all product lines.
• Analyze sales and market data to develop and implement strategies to drive growth in sales volume and market share within the territory.
• Forecast distributor programs, budgets, and sales volumes.
• Engage and coordinate with external channel partners (distributor, dealer, builder, etc.) and cross-functionally with internal marketing, operations, and pricing to achieve objectives.
• Maintain full accountability and ownership of distributor customers.
• Communicate and manage factory sales and marketing programs with customers.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in sales and/or operations management.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to travel domestically 60% of the time.

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field.
• Experience in the HVAC or construction industry or any industrial environment.
• Proven success in a Sales role with demonstrated growth and sales volume.
• Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce.
• Understanding of HVAC marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and competitor programs.
• Strong experience across multiple sales and distribution channels.
• Customer service orientation with ability to listen and respond to customer needs.
• Ability to identify new processes to work faster and more efficiently.
• Bias for action and ability to execute with speed.
• Creative and strategic thinking with openness to innovative, sustainable solutions.
• Professional written and verbal communication across a wide audience.

$118,000.00-$165,000.00
