Job Title: Senior Governance Manager

The Australian Public Service (APS) is seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Assistant Director.

This key leadership position is responsible for developing and maintaining effective governance frameworks to support best practice in managing a geographically dispersed workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing administrative governance practices;
  • Providing high-level program advice, procedural guidance and interpretation to staff;
  • Preparing a range of written material including business cases, project management documentation, reports and executive briefs;

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of governance principles and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
