Senior Government Client Manager Opportunity

At our company, we are seeking a seasoned senior client manager to lead the development and execution of sales strategies for key government clients. This exciting role will play a pivotal part in driving business excellence and sustainable growth within our Canberra office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government clients, fostering trust and understanding of their needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor positioning, and customer behaviour to inform sales strategy and optimise opportunities for growth.
  • Utilise reporting tools and CRM analytics to measure pipeline health, conversion rates, and margin performance, making informed decisions based on customer data, financial metrics, and sales performance KPIs.
  • Lead customers through change with clear communication and planning, delivering compelling sales presentations and business cases to executive-level audiences.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in a similar senior national account management role in a B2B or government environment.
  • Proven track record in Client Relationship Management and Sales Retention and Growth.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to market changes, internal restructuring, or shifts in customer demand.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
