Senior Governance Officer

The Education Directorate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Governance Officer to join its peak governance committee. This exciting opportunity involves providing high-level executive support and excellent customer service to the senior executive cohort.

As a key member of the Governance team, you will expand your network by building productive relationships across all levels and areas of the Directorate. You will be immersed in diverse, interesting, and important work being performed for the education sector.

This role plays an essential part in supporting good governance and requires strong secretariat skills, experience in school finance processes, and procedures. If you are a motivated and skilled professional with a passion for governance and public service, this is an ideal opportunity for you.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • High-level secretariat experience in the public sector.

This position operates under a flexible, hybrid work arrangement that includes working from home and Education Offices. The Secretariat is required to organise and attend committee meetings.
