About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our dynamic team as Disability Support Workers in Port Macquarie. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disabilities in their day-to-day living, providing quality care and assistance in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with daily living tasks and activities
  • Work in a team environment to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Assist with accessing and participating in community activities and events
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and their families
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • A willingness to work shift work, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable transportation
