About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Kirinari Community Services in Port Macquarie. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic and personal care assistance to customers
  • Assist customers to access and participate in community activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve customer outcomes

Requirements:

  • Ability to work shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Resilience, confidence, and ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
