About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Manager to join our Financial, Professional and Executive Risks (FINEX) team in Sydney or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review client risk management and insurance objectives to deliver high-quality services
  • Manage larger or more complex risk and insurance programs by collaborating across teams
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurers
  • Maximise revenue generated from existing client base through analysis of client profitability and maximisation of group facilities
  • Actively seek new business opportunities leveraging your network and expanding it proactively
  • Maintain comprehensive client data on WTW systems, facilities, and databases
  • Contribute to new business tenders and represent FINEX lines as a member of the presentation team
  • Promote the WTW brand within the insurance industry and amongst clients, prospects, and other professional networks
  • Prepare client documentation ensuring 100% accuracy before distribution
  • Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools
  • Process quotes, reports, invoices, premium, and adjustments calculations timely and accurately
  • Offer premium funding to clients, collect debtors according to terms of trade, and place clients within approved insurers
  • Manage client claims to ensure agreed standards are achieved and timely settlements made
Requirements
  • A customer-centric approach and strong desire to understand and meet client needs
  • Good time management skills and proactive approach to working
  • Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work in a team and autonomously when required
  • Broad business and economic understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 5 business cycles within insurance broking and/or legal experience with specialist knowledge in liability practice area
  • Tier 1 Insurance qualifications and significant business experience
  • Reasonable level of competency in Word and Excel and knowledge of PowerPoint
