We're currently seeking an experienced Insurance Portfolio Growth Manager to join our team in NSW/ACT. In this exciting role, you'll lead a team of underwriters to drive profitable growth in our portfolio, developing and executing go-to-market strategies to achieve business objectives.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the general insurance industry, with experience in motor underwriting and commercially astute skills. They will also have proven technical underwriting capability, leadership skills, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

We're looking for someone who is

  • Experienced in motor underwriting with a comprehensive understanding of the general insurance industry;
  • Proven technical underwriting capability and technical leadership;
  • ANZIIF CIP member or equivalent;
  • Strong knowledge of the underwriting philosophy, techniques, regulations, and guidelines;
  • Able to build strong relationships with brokers and negotiate effectively;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong presentation skills;
