About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for developing and managing account development opportunities, project delivery, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage account development opportunities, project delivery, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Build business relationships that lead to new business opportunities through planned site visits, meetings, and presentations.
  • Develop and implement a Client Relationship Management Strategy.
  • Maintain a client and prospect database across key accounts.
  • Support Stantec and project teams in the development of successful bids and proposals.
  • Manage CRM and IMS Opportunity entering/pipeline update on shortlisting/award.
  • Provide scope support to estimators and assistance in the development of estimates.
  • Coordinate the preparation of written and graphical elements of opportunity response documents.
  • Interact with operations personnel to support the development of collateral.
  • Work with designated response team members to develop opportunity response plans in alignment with our M&BD process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as business or engineering.
  • Circa 7 years of demonstrable experience in business development or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
  • A high level of autonomy and good time management skills.
