Connect People is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand.


We provide network construction, deployment, and maintenance teams to the Telecommunications sector. Our specialists build and maintain some of the region's largest fibre optic and mobile networks.


About the Role


We are seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join our supportive and collaborative team. This is a hybrid role split between remote working and our Wetherill Park office.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead a team of Site & Graduate Engineers by managing their day-to-day activities, measuring their performance, and driving accountability.
  • Proactively forecast and plan detailed high-level construction works in conjunction with the Area Supervisor.
  • Monitor progress and action construction variations on multiple tasks, identifying risks and impacts to the projects.
  • Review all Project KPIs, analysing results, facilitating improvement initiatives where required.

Requirements



  • Qualifications in Engineering/Construction Management essential.
  • Experience working in the Telecommunications industry is non-negotiable, ideally between 2-5 years' experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to manage a team.
  • A strong understanding of contract, finance, and commercial mechanisms.
  • Technologically savvy – MS Office (Advanced Excel) and MS Projects.

Salary and Benefits


The salary for this role is estimated to be around $140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive access to employee benefits such as corporate travel discounts, novated leases, private health discounts, and more.
