Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Project Manager to join our Platform team. The purpose of this role is to lead the successful execution of projects using Agile methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide, coach and motivate the team on the use of agile practices and principles, continually looking to improve team effectiveness and facilitating higher-level agile activities such as Scrum of Scrums (SoS) and PI (Program Increment) Planning.
  • Coordinate and organise project plans, including monitoring progress, handling risks and issues, and escalating blocker issues or high risks to the Group Manager Platforms as required.
  • Support scoping and sizing activities to manage resources across different organisational functions and outsourced service providers, engaging project team members and assigning work.
  • Work with the team to estimate project costs, collaborate with finance teams for budget approvals, and report to relevant stakeholders on delivery progress and budget utilisation.
  • Ensure appropriate internal communication and timely delivery of information regarding business impacts to support business readiness and outcomes.
  • Assist with coordination of user acceptance testing and business change management activities in line with the Change Management Framework.
  • Coordinate with Security, Risk, and Legal departments to obtain necessary approvals for projects, tools, and subscriptions required by the team for functioning or delivering projects.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, identify and escalate issues when processes are not proceeding as planned, and ensure alignment across teams and programs to maintain overall project and organisational goals.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.
  • Knowledge and experience using industry recognised solution delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Ability to manage competing expectations and priorities in a harmonious manner whilst ensuring business strategic imperatives are met.
  • Effectively manage and engage key stakeholders at all levels (up to and including executive team level).
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues to apply appropriate recommendations and decisions.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and can be flexible in their approach.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organisation; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualisations.
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
