About the Role

Seeking a skilled Senior Carpenter and Joinery Manager to lead a small team of qualified trades. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, interpreting plans, and delivering high-quality work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with innovative production facilities and computer design software. As a Senior Carpenter and Joinery Manager, you will be responsible for managing tasks, projects, and timelines while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage a small team to ensure completion of tasks and projects within specified timelines.
  • Review and assess all work to ensure the highest quality and deliver defect-free work orders.
  • Craft custom joinery items, including cabinets, shelves, doors, and more.
  • Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, drawings, and client specifications.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery with experience as a leading hand.
  • Experience in production and manufacturing methodologies of joinery, including CNC machines and edge banders.
  • Demonstrated skills in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to maintain a positive workplace environment, and build good rapport with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, good communication, and numerical skills.
  • High attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and great time management.
