As a Human Resources professional, you will play a key role in the HR execution of business strategies and operational objectives at our Western Australian operations. You will be responsible for providing HR advisory support and coaching on people matters including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations and change management.
Our ideal candidate has tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline, demonstrated experience in a human resources role within mining or other heavy industries, and proven ability to develop constructive working relationships with employees and managers.
Responsibilities- Provide HR advisory support and coaching to operational leaders and employees
- Analyse and monitor workforce trends to identify leading trends for the operational workgroup and support the delivery of proactive strategies in response
- Support operational leaders to progress day to day activities and culture initiatives
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality services
Additionally, you will participate as part of a broader professional HR team by personally contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery.
Requirements- Tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a human resources role within mining or other related heavy industries
- Proven ability to develop constructive working relationships with employees and managers
- Strong influencing skills
- A good understanding of human resources and employee relations legislation and practices
- Sound judgement and objective problem-solving skills
- Experience using HR systems such as Workday
