Job Title: Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled leader to join our team as an Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading the Narngulu yard operations and overseeing daily movements of rolling stock.

About the Role:
  • Direct and manage the allocation, utilization, and deployment of production resources to ensure the disciplined execution of the yard plan.
  • Develop, implement, and manage processes, systems, and procedures that eliminate above rail factors impacting supply chain performance and daily schedule attainment.
  • Grow and maintain knowledge, skills, and attributes of self and the team, ensuring clear, current, and measurable goals aligned with the plan and business targets.
  • Provide advice, coaching, and support to direct operational employees to achieve performance objectives, promote high-performance teams, and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure all business activities and employees within the position's area of control comply with relevant legislative/statutory obligations and company policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Experience in logistics, heavy industry, or yard operations will be highly regarded.
