Senior Building Designer

This is an Intermediate Level role that involves working on a range of key commercial, health, and retail buildings projects.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in structural engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- A strong buildings background across commercial, medium rise/high rise, retail, and health projects is essential.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g. SpaceGASS, RAM, RAPT, ETABS, or similar) is required.
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and industry guidelines is necessary.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment with a collaborative approach.
Progressing towards Chartered status (CPEng) is highly desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Undertake analysis and design of structural systems across building projects.
- Prepare technical documentation including calculations, design reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects from concept to construction.
- Assist with site inspections, structural assessments, and reporting.
- Support senior engineers and project managers in the delivery of projects.
